Forging Your Future

Is this all there is?

Maybe you’re a younger man, not sure how to go about “adulting.” Or an older man, who’s done everything right, everything he’s supposed to do, and yet, in both cases, you know there’s something missing.

Pre-Sale COMING SOON

Chris Williamson, in his Modern Wisdom podcast (episode 712 at 2:45:45) talks about this and says, “it feels like a quarter-life crisis. I think so many men go through this. They go, ‘I either succeeded or didn’t succeed at a game that I was told that I was supposed to value playing, and, upon reflection, I really don’t care for it as much as I thought I did.'”

If that lands for you, you're not alone.

According to recent LinkedIn research, three-quarters of 25-33 year-olds have experienced what some psychologists are calling a "quarter-life crisis."

It's no longer just men in their late forties who are reporting significant dissatisfaction with their lives (the "mid-life crisis"), now younger men in their late 20's and early 30’s find themselves in a similar situation.

Three Core Symptoms You Can't Ignore

You lack clarity

● 83% report feeling "stuck" in life or their job despite markers of external success, such as having a great salary, gaining recognition in their field, advancing in leadership positions, and knowing that their contributions are having an impact.

● 76% question whether they're in the right career.

● 68% can't say clearly where they see themselves five years from now.

You struggle with your identity

● 71% feel that they’re successful "on paper" but are unfulfilled internally.

● 65% report wrestling with impostor syndrome in their current roles.

● 82% struggle to align their current path with their authentic selves.

You feel trapped

● 77% feel their current environment doesn't support their growth.

● 69% report their daily habits and routines drain them rather than energize them.

● 74% are afraid that the way they’re living now isn't going to be sustainable in the long-term.

Why popular advice falls short

There aren’t a lot of us in the men’s self-development arena who are talking about a quarter-life crisis as such, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t real.
A lot of young men get it when I talk about being stuck right at the tipping point between late adolescence and early adulthood.
They know they still have some “adulting” to do but aren’t sure quite how to go about it.

Now, it’s true that there's a lot of advice on social media for men who are at this stage in life, regardless of what you call it.
The problem with most of the advice is that it treats the symptoms rather than offering a cure.
You’ve seen it: "Find your passion" or "follow your dreams" sounds great, but as a man who’s fought to optimize his own life, I know we need practical advice on how to take action, not nice sounding platitudes like "hard times make hard men."

Consider this: A recent study found that young men who approach this crisis systematically are 3.4 times more likely to emerge stronger and clearer about the direction of their lives than men who don't.

This isn't about making dramatic changes—it's about applying the same analytical skills you use in your work to build the life you've always dreamed of, and to build it intentionally.

Forging Your Future: 8 Weeks to a New You

Through years of working with men, I've developed an 8-week course that directly addresses these challenges. The eight modules are

1. Defining Your Compelling Future

Just as you wouldn't build software without considering the end user's requirements, you can't build a fulfilling life without clear specifications. I’m not talking about vague goals—I’m talking about creating a detailed blueprint for where you want to be in 3-5 years.

2. Rewriting Your Story: From Past-Based to Future-Focused

Your current success didn't happen by accident. No, it came from sustained,  systematic effort. The same approach can transform how you view and express your Future Self today.

3. Optimizing Your Environment for Rapid Growth

Your environment either supports your growth or it sabotages it. Learn to design your surroundings with the same precision you bring to your professional projects.

4. Mastering Your Mornings

5. Leveraging the Power of Consistency & Habits

6. Making Power Moves

7. Optimizing Your Evenings

8. Maintaining Momentum

The cost of waiting

Here's one more sobering statistic:

Professionals who put off facing their quarter-life crisis report spending an average of 3.7 years feeling stuck before they start changing their lives.

That's over 1,300 days of being stuck in the gap between where you are and where you could be.

The quarter-life crisis isn't just a phase to endure—it's a call for you to level up into a more mature man, or, if you're a younger man, to finish growing up.

Through my "Forging Your Future" program, and on-on-one coaching, I've helped men reframe this season of discontent into a one of hope and excitement for their Future Selves.
